Project archive: New Media School – Morphogenesis of School Typologies – Part 02
New Media School project was successful project in a way that the conceptual diagram leads to the spacial configuration as well as structural system. By distributing the network cables into the structure, the building bigger possibilities to make its function to next generation of building system.

We also proposed to use this New Media School to be a key project for the Halifax area re-development that expands school activities to the outside of school.

Our goal for this idea competition was not only to propose just the digital image of complex architecture, but also to include actual construction methods as part of potential project. We used unfolding algorithm to flatten the polygon meshes to acquire enough data to construct physical models.
