TUS Digital Studio Lecture
Daisuke Nagatomo has given the lecture “Advanced computation application in architecture” at the digital studio of Tokyo University of Science. TUS Digital Studio is initiated by 56 students of Tokyo University of Science to explore advanced digital tools application in architecture and let by Daisuke Hirose of Archicomplex. After the lecture around 20 students showed their first project in Rhino Scripting.

FEIDAD Award ceremony in Taipei
We have received FEIDAD (Far Eastern International Digital Architectural Design) Merit Award by New Media School: the morphogenesis of school typologies in 2008 and attended the award ceremony in Taipei the end of August 2010. The ceremony was held in one of the pavilion for Taipei Flora Expo, which will start from this coming November.

Our Tokyo office is ready to function! We used cellular automata formula to generate wall panel layouts to show our works. The office is located in Gotanda, the south part of Tokyo. We will showcase some pieces of our furniture in near future.

FabLab House at Solar Decathlon Europe 2010
Fablab House, the collaboration with IaaC, finished construction this June and presented at Solar Decathlon Europe 2010. Fablab House is extreme case of DIY with advanced digital fabrication tool, such as CNC Milling machine and laser cutting machine. The construction was initiated at IaaC, Barcelona, and finished in Madrid. The total construction took about two months.
